Ma dite, quanto è bella?! Il libro si intitola The shattered court di M. J. Scott. Questa cover è così, suggestiva! L'immagine e il testo sono in armonia, le figure, la donna in primo piano, il castello in lontananza. l'uomo che guarda verso l'orizzonte. AMO tutto di questa cover. Il libro è una serie (maddai?!) chiamata A novel of the four arts, genere paranormal. Uscirà per Aprile, quindi ancora nessuna recensione all'orizzonte! Il libro parla di streghe, linee di successione, potere. Vi traduco a grandi linee perchè la trama è molto interessante. Praticamente le streghe reali del regno di Anglion sono legate da anni alla tradizione di cui se una donna reale manifesta dei poteri deve essere data in sposa praticando la magia per un buon raccolto interagendo con la terra e il tempo, il resto è vietato. Purtroppo Lady Sophia Kendall per sua sfortuna scopre di possedere la magia. Durante un attacco al regno scappa insieme Cameron Mackenzie un membro della guardia reale fedele alla corona (vi ricorda anche a voi Chaol Westfall?). Quando i suoi poteri saranno sempre più forti, lei e Cameron saranno legati senza il rito del matrimonio diventando una minaccia per il paese e per chi intende distruggerla. Di fronte ai vecchi segreti e nuove verità dovrà decidere se battersi per il suo paese o soccombere alla dolce tentazione del potere...
